About Starilux S.a.r.l.
Starilux S.a.r.l. is established in 2010 initially with the aim to distribute industrial products like printing inks, doctor blades and seals, rubber rollers and suction seals for paper mills, embossing rollers, adhesives, cleaners, water treatment, and products for air purification.
Our services include mainly support of our customers by technical problems at production lines related to the products we sell and optimization of their recipes to fit the respective production process.
Since 2018 we have been providing our customers services predominantly in toxicological risk assessment of their products to meet scientific and regulatory needs.
We have been preparing expert statements, opinions, reports and various compliance documents for chemicals and broad range of products and related chemical / product legislations including:

Natalia Jansen-Bouriatchenko studied biochemistry at the Vernadsky University in the Ukraine and completed postgraduate studies at the University of Trier (Germany) for a diploma in environmental sciences, graduating with a doctoral aptitude exam.
She then worked for several years as a Regulatory Affairs Manager at a consulting company and was mainly involved in the process of creating of registration dossiers under REACH and the Biocidal Products Regulation.
She has special competence in the development of efficient registration strategies using the read-across approach, which enables closing of data gaps by transfer of missing experimental data to analogous/similar substances. For this purpose, Ms. Jansen-Bouriatchenko uses all relevant methods for data modelling using results of in vitro testing, QSAR (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship), read-across and trend analysis methods.
Her tasks include preparation of expert opinions on a wide variety of toxicological issues, on exposure and risk assessment of various products, including biocompatibility assessment of medical devices and consumer products.
Natalia Jansen-Bouriatchenko is a publicly certified appointed and authorized expert for "Toxicological risk assessment of cosmetics and consumer goods" acknowledged by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Trier (see German internet register at: www.svv.ihk.de).

Ing. Werner Jansen studied Engineering at the Technical University in Breda (The Netherlands) and Chemistry Laboratory Techniques at the Van Hal University (former International Agriculture University Larenstein) in Wageningen (The Netherlands).
Werner has working experience for more than 30 years in graphical industry as ink specialist for flexo- and gravure printing applications. He is an excellent specialist in ink- and coating product formulation and optimization, technical customer service, customer support and sales with a demonstrated long history of working in this specific field of industry.
He is skilled in paper making and packaging, print management, flexo-, gravure-printing techniques, paper barrier coatings and product development.
He is an experienced professional in paper application technology focused on printing and/for barrier coating functions.
